Our film is finally up and running! And I'm taking a brake from reading about Optical Printers, and Blue Screens, to tell you this! (My brain just couldn't take any more, so 20 minute brake should do me quite nicely). (In case you're interested, it's for an essay about 'the place of drawing in creative practice', and if I wasn't doing this, I'd be drawing space ships in 5 point perspective for my 'shelter' project. Both due in Monday. Woot for me.) So yeah. If you just can't wait to see the film, the link to our new channel is here, but I will be posting the video's further down the blog, anyway. First a little synopsis, for those who don't know what's going on.
The Random Characters and the Peculiar Predicament is a sequel to a film we (The Chimerical Revolution)made last summer, but, if I do say so myself, is so much better. (This is due to the fact that the 'first' film, was made at a party, was completely improvisation, and most of the footing we did get was too low quality to actually use. But if you want to see that, go here, and it's under the name 'The Random Characters and The Lost Plot'.)
The basic 'plot' of The Lost Plot is Sasuke from Naruto is being viciously chased by fangirls, while elsewhere Ike, from Fire Emblem, is fighting Young Link, from The Legend of Zelda. Sasuke is saved from the fangirls by Jin, from Samari Shamploo, but it turns out Jin is a fanboy. Sasuke manages to escape, and comes up with a plan to get rid of the fangirls. He will alter time to make sure they don't exist! (Cue evil laughter). Elsewhere Ike vanishes in the middle of his epic battle!
Later, Jin has met up with Thursday Next, from the Thursday Next book series by Jasper Fforde, and she's inquiring as to how he go there! While they're talking, the Doctor, who is trying a new form of space travel 'via Sonic Screwdriver' pops in to the middle of the conversation. While trying to explain he's not fictional to Thursday Next, there's a yell from off screen, and Celta (an OC) turns up. She's an explorer, who was on the same boat, the doctor was on, and due to his sonic screwdriver, she accidentally came along for the ride. She's not happy. Ike pops in to help save the 'fair maiden'. Thursday Next comes over, with Jin in handcuffs, and introductions are made. Jin escapes, pursued by Ike, who is convinced he is a girl in need of protection. they leave one way only to come back the other. They realise that Sasuke is behind it all, and battle for days and nights, with Sasuke and the ninja minions, until they're all too tired. They decide to go for a tiffin instead. (OMG! The spell check is convinced tiffin isn't a real word!)
The sequel, is a lot better built. The plot for this is the hero's are going missing, kidnapped by a band of villains, and it's up to the only hero's left to stop it! It's longer, more action packed, more random characters, OC's, and a few of the best from the last film. Though it, on it's own, can stand alone, with only a few references to the last lot of craziness, so don't worry, you don't need to sit through the old crap to understand the new lot.

So there!
Now on to other things. Wow. I've actually spent more than 20 minutes writing this blog. Bad Dibbzy. Essay is still sitting there. Sketch book is still stupidly large (A2), and sitting there.
But anyway, another youtube thing. This is something I was helping out with on Wednesday. Not Chimerical Revolution. This is the video project of my friends Jim, Tim, Sophie, and Jenny. (No you will not see my video project, because it will never see the light of day if I have anything to say about it.)

Other news, Foundation Art is confusing, and difficult, surprisingly. People think Art is easy. Well Buggerations to them. I am now an expert at Bull Shit, and it's rather difficult at times. It's a grate way to self teach yourself in a learning environment. And I can see it's plus points, and I will be sticking with it through the year, but seriously, if you're thinking about doing foundation art, research in to it, look around at more than one course, and see which one is better, because I seriously doubt this course is as good as it says. The number of things I've been taught are not increasing. The number of things I'm learning are, but that's because I'm teaching it to myself, to avoid boredom.
I did however, do silk screen printing. If you're curious about what art I'm getting up to, check out my DeviantART, which occasionally ends up with a few pictures.
ChartJackers is still going, so if you haven't got the song yet, Go. Get. It. NOW! Seriusly! Everybody counts in this!
Wow. Now I think I'm just procrastinating, so I'll get back to work. Talk to you soon people!

ChartJackers
I’ve been following a project on youtube called ‘ChartJackers’. It’s basically a plan to top the charts with a song created by the people of the internet, brought together by the power of youtube. It’s for children in need, and the song is coming out on Monday the 9th of November. The whole idea behind it is we’re going to top the charts, but there’s no help from the radio stations at the moment. The song is called ‘I’ve got nothing’ and it’s actually a really good song. It’s available on I-tunes only, for just under 70p. So requesting please and thankyou very kindly, if you could go and get it. It’s only a couple of pence, and it’s all going to Children in need, and it would be so amazingly awesome if we could actually top the charts. If you’re outside the UK, but still want to help, you can buy it yourself, and the money will go towards Children In Need anyway, or you could contact someone in the UK who doesn’t already know about it, and tell them to do it.
The channel is http://www.youtube.com/user/ChartJackersProject
And all the episodes, (as it has been filmed by BBCSwitch), are in the favourites. The song is around there somewhere if you want to hear what you’re buying first.
It's out this Monday 9th of November, once again.
I’ll get out your way now. Bye!

Last entry was depressing
Apologies for that!
I’m in a better mood now. Something to do with being nicely fed and having good music, and a warm building.
They finally turned the heating on. Which is good, because last night we were all crowded in the kitchen with an electric heater I asked if we could borrow from Rhia. It was entertaining, but still freezing. Then I found out how to close the top window (which is too high up for people to reach properly). It involves slamming it closed. How they got it open in the first place without braking there necks is still beyond me. Anyway, managed to close the top window and… it was still freezing cold…
Woke up this morning and my radiator works. But now my room smells of hot dust.
I also slept in this morning (by accident). My alarm normally goes off at 8. Today, it didn’t. So I woke up to Jenny knocking on my door at 9. To be honest, despite the rush, I am not at all sorry for the extra hour in bed, cause I think it lightened my day. Despite a lecture from the teacher who try’s to preach things he doesn’t always know, and a new project, it’s a pretty good project. Still got things hanging over me like a landslide, but I’m past the panic, (hopefully). Cause really, there’s not much I can do other than run, and keep running.
Last week Jenny told me to write out everything that was bothering me, and put little boxes round them. I’ve got a piece of A4 paper, full of things that are bothering me, with little boxes round them. The piece of paper is folded up, and in my bag, right next to a little book I once got from a charity shop.
-This blog is interrupted by a half an hour phone call from my mum.-
The book’s a little phrase book full of words on Courage. Theory: the book is neutralising the nasty effects of the piece of paper. Seriously, I picked up the piece of paper and I was almost scared to touch it. So I stuffed it back.
I got my new project today. “Communication/Documentation”, or “Book+”. Strange and confusing? That’s art foundation for you. Means “Do something and make up a story as to why it’s got something to do with what you’re meant to do.” And then you get good marks. Tis win. (theoretically). Working on one’s lying skills is apparently an essential element of real life.
I’ve also got an idea for a comic, if I can ever get it out my head. Web comic more than anything else. Be good practicing for the real comics I want to do, if nothing else. It’s one of the few things I’ve learned, that is actually of use. To draw well, one must draw more. It’s quantity not quality, really. That may sound silly, but by doing more drawing’s you pick up on things that need work, and fix it the next time round. In these last 4 weeks of drawing I’ve probably improved more than the last 2 years of casual art.
Bazaar.
Ok. I’m bored. I’m done. Talk to you later.

I'm not dead
Thought I should just write that.
Just very very busy. And more than slightly stressed. Got a project due in Monday that compleatly failed on Wednsday this week. It's now Saturday and I have no back up plan yet. Joy. Got an essay that I need to get around to SOON! Or I won't have time for that.
Broke down on Thursday. Not sure whether I'm releaved or insulted that no one seems to think much of it. I guess it is just me after all. Doesn't particualy matter. And I feel like I'm going to brake down again, probabuly sooner than I'd like.
Not that it matters.
Anyway, I'm not dead, yet. Just thought I should write that.

I would watch it if it was anime
The strangest phrase I’ve heard in a long time. “I would watch it if it was anime.” Surely, if it’s a good show, it shouldn’t matter how it’s portrayed? Be it comic super hero style cartoon, a more cartoonish cartoon style, or with real people? Does it matter that there eye’s don’t take up half of there head? And that there hair isn’t all poofie? So it wasn’t made in Japan. Does it matter?
I came across the phrase just now. I was checking my Youtube, before going off to bed (I should go to bed, as I will regret this post in the morning, but it’s been a while so I thought I’d update a little). I came across a video in my recommended list. The picture was something I recognised. An Anime picture of Danny Phantom I’ve seen before, so I thought ‘Oh, awesome’. It turned out to be just a slide show of various anime style pictures of American cartoons, mostly centred around Nick toons, but also one or two Cartoon Network productions. (Why, when I am 19, do I know the difference? Don’t ask.) And I do have to admit that some of the anime pictures were really good. But in the comments the person had put ‘Made outta pure boredom, but enjoy. I would watch these shows if they were anime.’ And I just can’t quite comprehend why it should make a difference if it is Anime or not. Sponge bob would still be an annoying little twerp, Timmy would still have his fairy god parents, Danny Phantom would still be unbelievably awesome, and Mandy would still be a vicious little being of pure evil.
Yes I am well aware that Anime has a very distinct style beyond the drawing of it, and that there isn’t a singular type of anime. But if the shows were converted to Anime, they would either lose something along the way. The shows are done in the style they are for a reason. Put them in a different style and they become a different show. Danny Phantom is the only one I can speak of fluently, but put it in an anime style, it would look very cool. But there are rules. You couldn’t have Jack being the fool he is. Convert him in to Anime and he’d look to different. You’d need to change the style of him to make him fit his character, and even then there are elements missing. Fill them in with substitutes, and soon you have a character that is like Jack, but is no longer Jack. The Lunch Lady. Put her in to Anime style, how do you make a monster out of Meat without it becoming a meat-gundam? The music that’s in the show the familiar ‘gunna catch um all cause he’s Danny Phantom’ wouldn’t fit with an anime, as it is a very Weston style.
It’s all well and good to say ‘I’d watch it if it was anime’. But you wouldn’t be watching it any more, would you?
That, and seriously, if you won’t watch anything unless it’s anime, you need your brain checking. There’s a world beyond Japanese Animation and comic’s. And if you discriminate against a show because it isn’t drawn in the style you favour, that really makes you rather sad. Otaku? Try Geek. It’s the Weston world mi-dears. Japan’s cool and all, but get your head out of anime-induced culture. There is more to the world than what crawls out of those islands in the east. It’s alright to like Anime, but seriously…
In a quick update. Now living in student accommodation in Swansea. First week and a half of my course is made up of unparalleled boredom. Sticking paper on paper in curls, drawing paper curls with charcoal, then pencils, then drawing boxes with pencils, then going back and painting the paper curls. Today we were making 3D models of a ‘vessel’ though how we got from vessel to things like heads, and pregnant lady’s I don’t know. And how these people plan to make such things out of cardboard in two days, I have yet to figure out. I kind of backed out of my group, and in one day I shall make a smaller project, that I should hope will be better… seriously… a head? The kind of thing I wanted to avoid.
All too airy fairy for me. Hopefully it will pick up next week when I’m doing less of the fine arts, and more of the specialised arts.
Talk to you soon. Peace!

8 Things I Have To Say To You
So got a few things to say.
1: I DEMAND you go look at my friends Deviant Art. His pictures are so awesome.
2: Guess what I found out!
According to Dr Who Magazine “Two part Christmas special stars David Tennant as the Doctar, and Bernard Cribbins as his companion, Wilfred Mott. Other cast members also confirmed are Catherine Tate as Donna Nobble, Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, June Whitfield as Minni Hooper, John Simm as the Master, and Alexandra Moen as Lucy Saxon. DWM can now confirm that former James Bond star Timothy Dalton also joins the cast as 'The Narrator'.”
Which means: Awesomeness all round!
There is also the point that they've re-done the TARDIS for the new doctor (11). I think the new season will have one foot in the future of Dr Who and one foot in the past.
3: Neill Cameron’s A-Z of Awesomeness.
And Indeed it is awesome.
D is my favourite, but B, F, G, I, J, P, Q and W are also awesome. (because THAT makes sense XD)
There are only 250 up for grams. Probably considerably less now, as I know I got one, and I know someone else who's blog I watch got one. So if you want one, you'd better move fast, Cause we can’t really guarantee they’ll be around for long.
Each one is £7.50, with £2.50 p&p. And for that price you get an A3 poster with all the A-Z on it, personally signed by the artist, with a little drawing request in a space left for it. (I requested Jayne, in his infamous bobble hat, saying ‘Lets be bad guy’s’, cause I’m geekie like that.)
However, alternatively, you can download the picture for free and print it off yourself. *shrugs*
4: Swansea Met accommodation department FAILS.
Today they sent me a letter telling me Art Foundation students need to be on campus by the 14th of September. Yes, this I already knew. In the same letter it told me that I cam move in on the 19th of September. What’s up with that?!
My mum rang up and asked, and they said I could move down on the 12th. But still, really didn’t think that one through did they?
5: On Sunday, in Kent, there was the World Walking The Plank Championships. If anyone knows who won, please tell me, cause I’m dying to know! Wish I could have gone, but it's a little far away to go for an afternoon of watching people go 'splash'.
6: I am such a Browncoat, and I’m still debating getting stuff from here, and debating whether I have the cash to do so. But there is so much I want, when I decide I will get something, I never know what to get!!! T_T
7: I’m slowly running out of things to procrastinate on… I will in fact have to do my uni project at some point today or tomorrow… this is probably a good thing, but still not a very awesome concept, as I bet I’ll completelycock the whole thing up. I don’t even know what I’m going to do for the final part of it yet. *le-sigh*
8: Trying to plan a board meeting for the Chimerical Revolution. Uncooperative founders in that department (me too...). When ever I ring then up, Liam and I end up going off on one about something unrelated, and Zan is always playing some sort of Play Station, or X-box, or Wii or whatever… I don’t know… on the upside Zan has been doing some editing. We’re hoping to get the rest of the film done next week, so he can get it all done and up on youtube, so I can spam you all with it. MWUHAHAHAHA
So yeah. There’s probably more I could say, but as I said, I’ll have to do my uni project sooner or later, and the sooner the better really… Here I go. *sighs.*

Lazy Update
I appologise for the terabul spelling in the following entry. I am a lazy sod, who's microsoft office applications are temporary.
I return from my epicaly long month of epicness. And how very epicaly epic it has been. o_o
My last blog I gave you a quick update on what i'd been doing in Greece and all, today I shall fill you in on London and the film.
About last christmas me and my friend desided that we were going to go to London. It didn't happen at new year so we decided to go in the summer. We revisited this when we were actualy in London, something along the lines of "So when did you realise you were mad?" "about 9 months ago I woke up and said 'hay, lets go to london'."
My feet still haven't qutie forgiven me even though I got back a week ago, but there is a valid excuse for that. Which I will get to momenteraly.
The orignal idea was to go to London, and see the sights, take lots of pictures, and use it as refrence for one of our graphic novels, which is based down there for something like half of it. But during the planning stages I remembered that Wicked had been extended at it's theater till September. How could I know this and not go?
Unfortanutly, when it came to booking it, we realised we'd (I'd) left it to late. The seats were worth £60. They sold them to us for £70. Extorting bastards. But admitidly they were incredabuly exeland seats.
It lived up to my expectations, and beyond it. I wouldn't hesitate to see it again. I loved every moment of it. I even bought a hoodie!
Last monday lived up to expectations, got up earlia than I'd like, travled for not as long as I'd like, got back home intime to meet my friend Mark at the station.
I've been filming all week. It went incredabuly well. We had so much fun doing it, and I can't stress enough how thankfull I am to everyone who was involved in it.

Wonderful, wonderful people. *hugs for all*.
The film will be out some time in mid September, as we still have quite a way to go with it yet. I'm not going to go into too much detail as I spent most the week being in some sort of automatic mode. I am still tired from it all.
Got Saturday off. so what do I do? Go see a movie, obviusly, with mark. No sleep for me, no.
Saw 'Perfect Getaway'. Briliant movie, if that's your kind of movie. Like most movies I figured it out before it happened, but only just. Comendabul. I was almost foxed. But like I said, not my kind of movie. (doesn't really have to be to apresheate that beautiful scenery!)
By Saturday night, I'd caught the Mark illness!
Mark caught an illness on the train up here. Well we think it's on the train. (*pauses while I have a sneezing fit*) By Saturday he'd made me, and another guy called Harry ill, at least.
Sunday, the illness settling in, my friend Alex pops round, cause he knows Mark too, and the desision had been made earlia that week that we'd go for a walk... So I get dragged out to Darwin tower. I go over my ankle on the walk up the hill, still make it to the top and back though.
Mark went home this afternoon, and i've been doing my best impretion of a hermit in my room.
Now I've got to get on with my project for University... I'm trading Jenny a t-shirt for some help with the research, as I am goram aweful at research. *many hugs for Jenny.* She has no brain so she has no need to worry of it shutting down on her.
I've also got to plan a borad meeting for the Chimerical Revolutions. It's finaly hit me how hard this is going to be.
At least my computer's working (mostly) now. This time last week, it took 45 minutes to turn on. My dad gave it a compleat reboot (and I just gave it a boot-up-the-circitry-hole), and now it's working fine. But I can only open Word Document another 22 times. Dad say's he'll fix that tomorow. I'm going to pray he actualy does, cause i'm going to need that application a lot over the next few weeks.
And right now? Sleep, me thinks. Good Night.
